The Volitan Lionfish is a great fish for a fish only tank. These can be kept in a reef tank but they will eat your inverts. Feeding can be an issue with these so it's best to ask if it's eating frozen food before purchasing. If it's not, then you will need to feed it live feeder shrimp which does become a hassle. Other points to remember are these are poisonous and do grow fast. Do not get one unless you have a tank larger than 100 gallons.
